Silverado Returns to Salt Lake City with Reacquisition of Aspen Park Memory Care Community

Silverado brings nearly 30 years of dementia care expertise, internationally recognized training and innovative 24-hour brain health back to Salt Lake Valley.

The acquisition represents a homecoming for Silverado, which operated Aspen Park for nearly 20 years and established deep roots throughout the Salt Lake Valley healthcare community. During that time, Silverado Aspen Park became a leader in specialized memory care and helped train generations of nursing and social work students from the University of Utah while developing relationships with healthcare, post-acute, long-term care and senior care professionals throughout the region.

Silverado returns to Salt Lake City with an expanded approach to caring for people living with dementia and mild cognitive impairment, including a comprehensive focus on 24-hour brain health.

Research conducted with UC San Diego demonstrated a 60% improvement in cognition among participating residents, with similar results when the program was replicated in Denmark.
