New York IPA Deploys Helios® to Unify Care Management and Coordination Across Its 1,500-Provider Network
EDISON, NJ, UNITED STATES, August 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Elligint Health today announced that the Coalition of Asian-American Independent Practice Association (CAIPA) has gone live on the Helios® platform, deploying Helios Care Management (CM) with interoperability to modernize its care management operations. The implementation represents a significant milestone in CAIPA’s strategy to bring a unified, cloud-native technology platform to its network of more than 1,500 provider members spanning 70+ specialties across 1,800 medical offices in the greater New York area.
Helios CM and population health provides CAIPA with advanced CM capabilities within a single, configurable platform, enabling care teams to gain a more comprehensive view of patient needs and coordinate care more effectively across a large and diverse provider network. The platform extends those capabilities through next-generation interoperability, leveraging FHIR-based data exchange to connect CAIPA’s ecosystem of payers, providers, and clinical systems — giving care teams the real-time data access they need to improve outcomes for the more than 500,000 members CAIPA serves.
CAIPA’s deployment reflects a growing trend among independent practice associations and physician-led organizations to invest in scalable, interoperability-forward platforms that can support value-based care programs while preserving the independence of their provider networks.
“CAIPA is continuously strengthening its population health infrastructure as a leader in value-based care. We are partnering with Helios by Elligint Health for its robust, forward-looking capabilities that can scale alongside our continued growth and evolving population health needs,” said Dr. George Liu, President and CEO of CAIPA.
Chris Caramanico, CEO of Elligint Health, added: “We are proud to see CAIPA go live on Helios and begin realizing the benefits of a truly unified care management platform. CAIPA has built something remarkable — a physician-led organization that has been at the forefront of value-based care for the Greater New York Asian community for more than 26 years. Helios is designed to support that mission by giving CAIPA’s care teams the tools, workflows, and interoperability they need to deliver more coordinated, high-quality care at scale.”
