A New Jersey event hardware rental company has launched a short term iphone rental option that supplies organizers with preconfigured handheld devices for ticket scanning, check-in and mobile payments.

BUTLER, NJ — An event hardware rental company headquartered in Butler has launched a short-term iPhone rental option for event organizers across the United States and Canada. The program supplies preconfigured handheld devices for ticket scanning, guest check-in, and mobile payments, shipped ready to use. Registered businesses, nonprofits, agencies, and venues can use the option for a defined event window.

Handheld devices have become a routine part of event operations, as organizers increasingly move entry, registration, and on-site sales away from paper lists and fixed registers. Setting up purchased phones for a single event can require account configuration, app installation, accessory sourcing, and testing, adding work for small operations teams. A short-term rental arrangement shifts that preparation to the rental provider so staff can focus on running the event.

Under the new option, we configure each iPhone before shipment for the customer’s intended use. Depending on the event, that can include a ticket-scanning application, a check-in workflow, or a mobile payment application tied to the customer’s own platform account. We charge, label, and pack devices with the needed accessories, and the customer supplies account credentials for any third-party software used that day.

Rental periods align with the length of an event rather than a long-term contract, and shipments are delivered ahead of the event date, with return materials included. Support staff is available to respond if a device needs attention during the rental period, according to the published support schedule on the company’s website. The company notes that the hardware is configured to work within the payment environment a venue or organizer already uses, and that it does not act as a payment processor. iPhone is a trademark of Apple Inc., and the company is not affiliated with Apple Inc.

“Organizers told us repeatedly that the hardest part of using phones at an event is getting them prepared in time, not the devices themselves,” said SVP of Business Development of the event hardware rental company. “This option puts configured handhelds in their hands before doors open, with people available to help if a question comes up,” SVP added, saying the program is intended for business and organizational customers, including nonprofit fundraisers, festivals, conferences and civic events.

About the company: The company rents and configures event hardware, including handheld devices and tablets, and manages device logistics for organizations in all 50 U.S. states and Canada. It has operated since 2011, became Square’s official hardware rental partner in 2015, and adopted its current brand name in 2018. Its headquarters and warehouse are in Butler, New Jersey, and it serves registered businesses and organizations, not individual consumers.

Event organizers and operations teams weighing a short-term iPhone rental for ticket scanning, check-in, or mobile payments can review the available configurations and rental terms on the short term iPhone rental page.
